The visionary behind Acquest, Chandaka is driven purely by his passion for all things real estate. With over 14 years at the forefront of the real estate services industry Chandaka brings an unrivalled understanding, perspective and market insights that offer our clients a unique advantage when we help them make real estate decisions.
Chandaka has been involved in many of the major real estate developments launched post 2009 and he has handled some of the largest real estate transactions in our market.
In 2010 he was instrumental in guiding the largest foreign institutional investor, a New York based Hedge Fund when they entered our market. Over the last 11 years Acquest has represented their interests in Sri Lanka.
Chandaka feels a custodian responsibility to guide our real estate industry in a responsible way by creating transparency and accountability to positively impact all stakeholders in our industry.
Melina de Kretser
Assistant General Manager
Melina having started her career at Ernst and Young in Risk Advisory, has over 10 years of experience in Finance and Operations in the real estate industry. Melina is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK), and holds the CTA (SL) and MBA (UK) qualifications. Melina heads the operations at Acquest.
Roshaan Hettiaratchi
Attorney-at-law
Roshaan Hettiaratchi is an Attorney-at-law by profession. Having a wide practice in the Original Courts as well as in the Appellate Court, specialising in Commercial Law, Business Law and Intellectual Property Law and various aspects of Public Law. He counts over 20 years of experience as a legal practitioner. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property Law and Information Technology.
He serves as a retained counsel for many corporate entities in the construction and hospitality sectors. Roshaan is also a retained counsel for a global management consulting firm.
His corporate portfolio includes his role as a Managing Director of Right Angles (Pvt) Limited Foreign Direct Investment consultancy services for overseas clients who have invested into the Mining Industry, the Hospitality Industry in Commercial Construction industry. He is also an independent director of Dialog Finance PLC. While serving as a Director in several other unlisted companies.
